1. Cancellation Policy
At SaveTaxs, we provide professional tax, compliance, and advisory services to NRIs and individuals with Indian tax obligations. Since our services involve professional consultation, document review, and statutory compliance activities, cancellation and refund requests are governed by the following terms.
1. Before Service Initiation
Customers may request cancellation before any consultation, document review, tax computation, or filing activity has commenced. Approved cancellations may be eligible for a refund after deduction of applicable administrative, banking, and payment gateway charges.
2. After Service Initiation
Once any of the following activities have commenced, no cancellation shall be permitted:
- Tax consultation or advisory session.
- Review of documents.
- Preparation of tax computation.
- Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation.
- Form 15CA/15CB processing.
- DTAA analysis or tax planning.
- Any compliance-related work initiated by SaveTaxs.
3. Customer Delays or Incomplete Information
No refund shall be issued where service delivery is delayed or impacted due to:
- Incomplete documentation.
- Incorrect information.
- Failure to provide required responses.
- Non-cooperation during the engagement.
2. Refund Policy
1. Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be approved in the following situations:
- Duplicate payment made by the customer.
- Payment made for an incorrect service.
- Payment successfully received but service request not created due to a technical error.
- SaveTaxs determines that the requested service cannot be delivered.
2. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds shall not be available in the following situations:
- Service work has commenced.
- Consultation has been completed.
- Tax return or compliance documents have been prepared.
- Government filing has been initiated.
- Tax authorities reject a claim, refund request, or application.
- Delay occurs due to government departments, Income Tax authorities, banks, or third-party agencies.
3. Payment Gateway Charges
For approved refunds, payment gateway processing fees, bank charges, convenience fees, and other transaction-related costs may be deducted from the refundable amount wherever applicable.
4. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method used by the customer.
Estimated timelines:
- UPI Payments: 3–7 business days
- Debit/Credit Cards: 5–10 business days
- Net Banking: 5–10 business days
- Wallet Payments: 3–7 business days
Actual timelines may vary depending upon the banking institution and payment service provider.
5. Tax Refunds from Government
Any income tax refund claimed from the Income Tax Department is separate from SaveTaxs service fees. SaveTaxs does not guarantee the amount, approval, or timing of any government-issued tax refund.
6. Right to Refuse Refund
SaveTaxs reserves the right to review and determine the eligibility of any refund request on a case-by-case basis.
