    Yes, the e-PAN card is valid and can be used as a valid proof of identity across various services. It has the same value as a physical PAN card.

    You can download the e-PAN through the NSDL or UTIITSL website by clicking on the "Download PAN card" option and filling in the acknowledgment or application number.

    An e-PAN card applied through the Income Tax website is free of cost. However, if you apply for an e-PAN through the NSDL or UTIITSL website and submit the documents physically, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 72. Also, when you submit the documents using paperless mode, you need to pay Rs. 66.

    An e-PAN card is a digital version of the traditional PAN card, whereas a PAN card is a physically printed PAN card. A person has the option to obtain an e-PAN card via email and a physical PAN card at a residential address or both. The e-PAN and the PAN card will have the same PAN number.

    Yes, you can get an e-PAN card within 10 minutes when you apply for an instant one on the Income Tax website using your Aadhaar card.
